The Mandel Elevator Project

About

I was commissioned by the city of West Palm Beach to create a mural that covers the doors and walls of the two elevators in the Mandel Library.

The Drafts

I was first asked to come up with art for 3 different locations in the city with the theme of "Endless Summer". The Art in Public Places Committee was then to choose 1 of the 3 locations to move forward with. Here are some of the drafts.

The Proposal

I was then asked to create a power point presentation to present the official mural to the Committee. This included measurements, timeline, cost, and 3 different printing company options.

The Final Product

I sent my artwork to the printing company and planned a day to install. This is the final product. The project took around 6 months to complete.
